Here in ashburton, we ar not asking our neighbors to do it all. We just want you to pick a committee and make a contribution. Here are a list of the committees that we have in the association. Pick one and get committed to making a change in your neighborhood.

Archives
To maintain documents and other artifacts, including but not limited to newspaper articles, pictures, maps, bylaws, etc. that concern Ashburton and its residents.
Budget and Finance
To annually develop a budget for the Association; monitor spending and make recommendations to the Board of Directors, as needed; oversee audits or other external reviews of finances.
Education
To Develop partnerships with community school(s) and otherwise identify and make recommendations to the Association Board Directors regarding educational activities for the Ashburton community
Hospitality and Community Relations To welcome residents to the Ashburton community and plan and execute community events, such events as the flea mart, block party and holiday festivals
Housing
To annually review the status of all houses in the Ashburton community and work with the Zoning Committee to identify violations that should be reported to City officials
Membership
To recruit new members and retain current members of the Association
Publicity
To develop and implement activities to inform residents and the larger community about ashburton, that are designed to enhance Ashburton's quality of life
Public Safety
To coordinate "Citizens on Patrol" and make recommendations to the Ashburton Board of Directors for other programs to address crime and safety
Zoning
To be knowledgeable of the zoning laws of Baltimore City and identify violations; make recommendations to the Board of Directors
By Laws
To review the bylaws and make recommendations for changes, as needed
Nominating
To Develop a slate of candidates for election to position delineated in the bylaws
